Riverside Funeral Homes of Albuquerque and Los Lunas are proud to serve your family with affordable dignity. What sets us apart? When you call Riverside Funeral Home, you will speak with a kind, helpful person that will make sure your family will receive the highest quality care possible. An answering service is not used; twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, one of our own staff will answer your call and questions. We also have our own on-site crematory eliminating the need of third party involvement, thus helping us keep costs down and passing that savings onto you. Riverside Funeral Homes are locally owned and operated by Mr. Charles M. Finegan. Charles has been in business in New Mexico for over sixteen years, and is dual licensed in both New Mexico and Texas. This means that our staff does not have to answer to a “corporate office”. Charles has owned and operated an International Mortuary Shipping business; we are experts at shipping your family's loved one to Mexico or any other International destination. We accept all pre-need insurance policies regardless of where they have been funded. In most cases, we have been able to save our families money at a time when they need it the most. We know you have a choice when it comes to Funeral Service, we will strive to be that choice.

We have Partnered with New Mexico Lions Eye Bank

Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque and Los Lunas has partnered with the New Mexico Lions Eye Bank to Help the Blind See

Albuquerque, NM  (February 3, 2014) –Riverside Funeral Homes has partnered up with the New Mexico Lions Eye Bank.  In New Mexico you can list your desire to be an eye, organ and tissue donor when you apply for or renew your New Mexico issued driver's license.  Becoming a Donor gives you the power to change lives.  At the time of your death, your family will be offered the option of donation.  Sharing your decision with your family now will help them carry out your wishes later.  Many people find some comfort in sharing their choice to donate with loved ones, so that the burden of making a decision will not be placed on family members.

Beginning February 3, 2014, residents are invited to stop by any of our two locations at both Riverside Funeral Homes, including: 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE or our Los Lunas/Valencia County location at 820 Main Street NE, Los Lunas, NM and sign a donor card and gather some information to have the vital conversation about eye and tissue donation.  You have the amazing power to turn a loss into a life-renewing opportunity.  Your decision to be an eye donor will improve lives, and be a source of lasting consolation to your family.
