Anita Louise Quintana, Age :60

Anita Louise Quintana,60, of Santa Fe, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born April 19, 1958, in Embudo, New Mexico, to the late Amadeo and Ofilia Quintana. She graduated from Espanola Valley High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Art from Eastern New Mexico University and Master of Arts in Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences from the University of New Mexico. Her career included employment with The BDM Corporation, Art Supply of Houston, Western Research, and TRW Systems and Information Technology Group. Anita was most recently an adjunct graphic design instructor at Santa Fe Community College, the University of Art and Design, and the University of New Mexico. Anita was a creative jeweler, painter, graphic designer, lover of life, an intellect, who loved traveling and valued her family life. She is survived by two brothers, Samuel Quintana(Rebecca), Jonathan Quintana, one sister Cecilia R. Jimenez(Ed). Nieces Esperanza Archuleta(Santiago), Maclovia Quintana(Adam), Francesca C. Varga(Tyris). Great nephew Christopher(Elizabeth), great nieces Dezzi, Gianna, Avabelle, and close friend Lori Doron, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has taken place. A mass for her special intentions will be held at 6:00p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz on Monday, February 11, 2019.
