Christina Lumley, Age :78

Feb 14,1941---Apr 12,2019

Christina Lumley, born as Christina Mary Niedzielski in Buffalo NY on 2/14/41, died on 4/12/19. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Celia Niedzielski. She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Chris lived most of her life in New Mexico and spent the last ten years in Colorado with her youngest son. She moved back to New Mexico to finish her earthly race.  She deeply loved God, and would often speak of Him and marvel at the great love, goodness, and mercy He had shown her.

There was nothing in this earth more important to her than her family! Her dying wish was that she would be surrounded by her four children. God granted that request and she enjoyed with them lots of laughter and memories. She was a very funny lady!

Mom loved to see God in nature and especially enjoyed warm weather, water, and wildlife. In the summer she could be found every morning on her swing drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds.  She gardened for the love of growing things - especially flowers - and looked forward to getting her hands in the dirt in the spring every year.

Before retiring Chris worked as a nursing home tech, public school music teacher, ER Admissions personnel, seamstress, book store manager and other sundry things. She loved languages and music. She spoke Polish, Russian and a little bit of Hebrew, and played the piano and flute. For years she enjoyed helping lead worship in several different churches. Her passions included teaching the Bible and quilting.

We will miss you so much Chris / Crissy / Mommy / Mom / Ma / Mama / Dwama / Mi Ma / Graham Cracker / Muffin - but we know we will see you on the other side! We love you!
