Obituary for Christopher Gordon Such

April 22, 1964 to June 10, 2019

Chris was many things to many people.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was a loyal friend and brother.  A dedicated employee and hard worker. A strong man with a hard exterior and a heart of gold.  To me his wife, he was the best of the best and my everything.

He worked many years working on something, cars, transport refrigeration units and anything else that was broken.  In fact, his motto was if “he can't fix it, it aint broke"

He also had a sarcastic humorous side to him.  He loved to get a rise out of people and sometimes forgot his filter.  In other words, what you saw is what you got with Chris.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife Audra of 22 years. His daughters: Nicole Padilla and husband Steven; Amanda Gonzales and husband Jose; Chelsey McCoy and. husband Scott. Grandchildren; Tasia, Paul, Ruben, Dean, and Aria. Sister and Brother Georgia and Troy Larson, Sister Laura Trainor.  Our other children Nathan and Janie Larson, Kyle Larson, Jeremy Trainor, Dustin Sheets and Mike Trainor. Brothers: John Such and wife Nancy; Bill Such; Garry Such and wife Mary Beth; sister in law Barbie Phipps Such.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Additionally, his brothers by choice Joe Barraza and wife Sandra, and Mike Barraza.

I’m sorry for your loss and I wanted to send my heartfelt condolences. I personally look forward to the promise of a future, earthly resurrection. (John 5:28,29; Isaiah 26:19) We have the opportunity to see our loved ones again, here on earth, under the peaceful conditions described at Psalms 37:10,11. I hope these scriptures bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

So very sorry for the tragic loss of your dear loved one. Life seems so unfair to lose someone so dear to you. The Bible provides true comfort for grieving families. Revelation 21:4; tells us: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” May you find comfort in these words and your loving memories.

My sincerest condolences for your great loss. It doesn't seem right that God would put eternity into our hearts and we still feel the sting of death. However he does promise us at Revelation 21:3,4 that very soon death will be done at with, along with any other reason we would have to shed tears. Please find comfort in the scriptures and your find memories of your loved one.
