Joseph Esquibel

Joe was born on January 3, 1951 in Espanola, NM born to Ben and Pauline Esquibel. Joe who was raised in Albuquerque, closed his eyes for the last time to be with God on August 25 2019.

Joe had such a loving giving heart to all, he enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to music and smoking his cigarettes, loved his San Jose neighborhood and was known by many as they would always see him walking around. 

He is survived by his only son Anthony "Palo" Esquibel and wife Chyla, only granddaughter Mariah, and great grandson Cameron. Brothers Clifford with Victoria, Alvin with wife Joanne, Ben with wife Fita and niece Yvette Kensic, whom he considered and loved like a sister. 

Services will be held at Knights of Columbus, September 6th starting at 12 noon, followed by a reception in same location
3301 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque NM 87104.
