Narciso (Nars) Paul Romero

Narciso (Nars) Paul Romero passed away after a brief illness at age 51 on Sunday, May 3, 2020.  He was born on January 3, 1969 in Espanola, NM.  Nars graduated from Espanola Valley High School in 1987 where he was quarterback for the Sundevils.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping, construction work, singing Spanish music and especially his Denver Broncos. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents David and Isabel Romero, Tito and Amalia DeVargas, uncle David Romero, aunt Allison Romero, uncle Bobby DeVargas, and aunt Anita Bustos.  Nars is survived by his girlfriend Tammy Aguilar; his father Gilbert Romero (Sally), mother Elsie Vigil (Louie “pops”);  brother Greg Romero (Stephanie); sister Stephanie Romero (Ben); his loving children, Miranda, Narciso Jr, Nathaniel, Justine, Damian and Angelina; two granddaughters; special cousin Carey Sims; special uncle Harry Romero and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. 

Narciso will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
