Anthony Christopher Maestas

Anthony Christopher Maestas, 34, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed into eternity on May 9, 2020.

He was born to parents Mary Ann Maes and Anthony Maestas, on December 22, 1984, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 Anthony went to Rio Grande High and attend and graduated from Pima College.  It was because of his love of people and helping others through difficult times he really flourished. Later in life, he worked as an HR Director at Peer Albuquerque. Anthony loved to play the flute and singing for his family and friends. He joined the New Mexico Gay Men Chorus in April 2019.  All he wanted was to help and love others. To help change lives, but he was taken too soon. Anthony was a bright light for many who need support. 

Anthony is survived by his Mother, Mary Ann Maes, and her Husband Michael Maes; his Father Anthony Maestas, and his father's Fiancé Sally Moya, and his Partner of eight years, Roy Garza, and his Grandma Isabel Price, Several Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins.

He was preceded in death by Grandpa Placido Price, Priscilla Maestas, Uncles, Aunts.

The family has entrusted Riverside with the arrangements for 5 Family members only. An Event is scheduled for Anthony Maestas at the Pajarito Cemetery May 15, 2020 at 3:30 PM.
