Our beloved daughter, Lorie Ann Martinez, 40 years old. Was born on April 29th, 1980 in Santa Fe NM. She passed away on May 11th 2020 in her father's home in Santa Fe NM. Lorie was fighting a long-term illness with diabetes. She spent her life growing up in Santa Fe. She graduated from Santa Fe high school in 1999. Lorie enjoyed working at the Monica Roybal Center during the summer with the youth program. She enjoyed being around all the kids. Lorie believed in Jesus Christ and left this world to be with our creator God our Father. She was preceded in death by her love Dion Ortiz, her Grandfather Joe R Lujan, cousins, Christina Chavez, Adrian Jr Martinez and Robbie Jr Gonzales. She is survived by her Son Jesus Martinez, Father Gerald Martinez (Stacy), Mother Sophia Lujan, sisters Jessica Martinez, Estrella and Arianna Madrid and nephew Lucas Sanchez. Grand Parents Jose and Theresa (Viola) Martinez and Margarita Lujan. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Lorie was known for having a big heart and countless acts of selflessness and helping the homeless and she loved her son very much. She was a very brave courageous person. She enjoyed playing pool, basketball, and swimming. She was a huge Laker and Raider fan like her dad. She loved going to church Praying and listening to music. Her favorites were Bone Thugs N Harmony, Boys to men, Akon and News Boys to name a few. Her favorite color is purple, she loved cats and roses and loved collecting rosaries and crosses. She will be dearly missed by all her family, friends and especially her cat Precious. We Love You Lorie!!!

We were so saddened by Lorie' s passing but we are comforted knowing she is at peace and no longer suffering.
