Josephine Romero, 51, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on August 21st, 2020, with her children by her side. Josephine was born on February 25, 1969 in Dixon, NM to Mario Romero and Theresa Romero.

Josephine attended Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM and resided in Alamogordo, NM for many years.

Josephine also known as “Jojo” was an incredibly kindhearted person, who was always there to care for family and friends in their times of need. She cherished and had a very special, unique bond with each member of her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to children Amanda, Sonny, and Alissa. Anyone who had the honor of knowing her knew how selfless, caring, and funny she was. Josephine enjoyed riding Harleys with her sweetheart Mark, all outdoor adventures, cooking and traveling especially to spend time with her loved ones. Josephine’s greatest loves were her grandchildren Nathan, Alex, Kayden, Kylie, Jasmine, and Jacob. We will all miss her dearly and will cherish all the wonderful memories we have of her.

Josephine is survived by her parents Mario Romero and Theresa Romero; her daughters Amanda Herrera and Alissa Herrera; her son Robert (Sonny) Herrera; six grandchildren; her sister Arlene Romero; brothers Andy Romero and Matthew Romero. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mark A. Williams; paternal grandparents Eduardo Romero and Josephine Romero; maternal grandmother Evila (Mita) Ortega and little brother Jason Romero.
