Leonor M. Ritchie, Age :62

Leonor M. Ritchie, aged 62, of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away at her home on Monday, November 09, 2020 at 5:15 PM surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born September 25, 1958 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the late Rudy and Eloyda Garcia. She attended Santa Fe High School where she graduated in 1976­­. She then took a year off school to work and save money for college. She graduated from New Mexico State University in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

On July 3, 1986 she married Randall Ritchie. They were married for 34 years and had two children, Jason and Regina, whom she was very proud of.  

Leonor was very bright and an avid reader. She worked over 30 years at Suby Bowden & Associates, which she thoroughly enjoyed, as an accountant among many other office duties. 

Leonor loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ in various Bible studies and church ministries.  She was generous and donated her time to her community. 

Leonor is survived by her husband, Randall Ritchie, children, Jason and Regina Ritchie (Oscar Velazquez), brothers, Robert Garcia (Belen- deceased) Marshall Garcia (Cecelia) sisters, Patricia Zuniga, Gina Nieto (Richard), and Angela Nieto. She is also survived by her aunts, Rosina Torres, Diana Olguin and Ruth and uncle Carlos Martinez. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.  

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ambercare Hospice for all of the genuine kindness, care and compassion provided. 

A service to honor Leonor will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Blaze Christian Fellowship, 6 Bisbee Court, Santa Fe, NM 87508. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed on Blaze’s Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/BlazeChristianFellowship
