Kenny K. Medina, Age :56

Kenny K. Medina, 56, of La Villita, New Mexico passed away peacefully on February 3, 2021.  He was loved very much by families and friends.  Kenny was born on May 30th, 1964.  He loved Fishing, Hunting, Camping, ATV Trail Riding, and cutting wood as a skilled Woodsman in big mountains.  His other passion was being an Hermano in the Morada of Chamita since 1990 and was very active in his duties.  Lent was a favorite time for Kenny where he got to spend time praying, and being with his Hermanos de Morada celebrating the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday which was the highlight of his time, he will surely be missed by his Hermanos.  Kenny was a son, brother, husband, padrino, uncle, and a wonderful friend to many people.  He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Donaciano and Natividad Quintana, and Teofilo and Elvira Medina, and sister Donna Marie Medina.  Kenny is survived by his wife, Wanda Medina; his parents Johnny and Cora Medina; brother, Isaac Medina (Susan), and brother, Sandy Medina, and sister Dani Beckman, special closest friend Clarence Chavez and close friend April Alire; and many loving & caring nephews, nieces and godchildren, cousins, and other special friends.       

Rosary services to be recited on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at San Juan Bautista Church in Ohkay Owingeh, NM, and Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at San Juan Bautista Church in Ohkay Owingeh, NM, Burial will follow at La Villita Cemetery in Alcalde, NM.  Serving as pallbearers:  Isaac J. Medina, Alex Medina, Dominic Medina, Allen Medina, Teofilo Guerin, Anthony Martinez, and Fabian Padilla.  Honorary pallbearers are his Hermanos from the Morada.   The family of Kenny K. Medina has entrusted the care of their beloved one to Riverside Funeral Home of Santa Fe, NM. (505) 395-9150.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions "limited capacity" guidlines will be followed at all Kenny's funeral services.
