Flora Duran, Age :77

Apr 07,1943---Jan 25,2021

Flora T. Duran, 77, was called home by the Lord on Monday morning January 25th, 2021 at 1:11am after her battle with cancer. Flora was a woman who took pride in her home and loved to be doted upon. Because she was an only child who was raised by her grandfather she set out to have a big family. She loved Carmen as her sister and then started growing her own family with David, the love of her life, who gave her all the love and attention she deserved in life. She enjoyed traveling with him across the country. Flora had the most unforgettable laugh that would make her turn bright red and in turn would have everyone laughing with her. She will be miss by all those who adored her, but she will be laughing and smiling now for eternity. She has been reunited with her mom, dad, grandfather, her grandson Eric, as well as her daughter Jeanette Espinosa who preceded her in 2009. She is survived by her husband David who was her  “negro” and she his “vieja”. Also survived by her other 3 children Leroy and his wife Debra, Jeanette’s surviving husband Vidal, Delia, Steven and his wife Yvette, her ex-daughter-in-laws Anita and Rose, her brother-in-law Robert, her grandchildren Irene and her husband Wil, Teddy, Julia and her fiancé Jason, Joseph, Tonya and her husband Steven, Gino, Anthony, Gabrielle and her husband Anthony, Mariah, Amanda. As well as her great-grandchildren Alyssa, Damien and Emmett. Special thanks to Delia and Amanda who helped care for Flora while she was sick, and to Steven and Yvette for helping at the hospital and at home. Thank you to her Doctor Debbie, her nurses Victoria, Rebecca, Elizabeth, and Issa. Services will be held on March 3rd, 2021 at 9:30am at Risen Savior Catholic Church with the burial to follow. The Duran family will be holding a wake at their home following the burial. Masks and Social Distancing required. ~Te amare siempre, vieja. -David~
