Karla Kristine Wonder
Karla Kristine (Hermanson) Wonder was born on 21 July 1948 right here in Albuquerque. As part of an Air Force family, she moved throughout the country during her childhood, living in California, Arizona, Mississippi, South Dakota, Kansas, Texas and Nebraska.
After living in both Nebraska and Arizona as an adult, she settled back here in Albuquerque where she worked for many years at Don Rey Advertising and other local companies. She was a voracious reader and knew every TV show and movie for the last 30 years.
Everyone who knew Kris would always comment on the extremely sarcastic, yet warm humor that she shared with everyone. Even if they didn’t want it.
Kris is survived by her two younger brothers, Paul and Dale as well as her sister-in-law Mitzie, her nieces Valerie, Shannon and Erica, her grand-niece Louella and her beloved dog Bella. She is also survived by her very dear friend, Mary Lou Rocheleau who was as close to family as a friend can be.
Kris passed from this world on Saturday January 6, 2018. A memorial service for her will be held at the Chapel at Riverside Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 10 at 11am.

M.W. January 12, 2018

Dear Wonder Family, I just wanted to take this time and express how sorry I am for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is something that is so hard to deal with. Sometimes, we may even feel hopeless and as if there is no one that can understand our pain. But there is someone we can turn to. Our Heavenly Father can help us through all sorts of trials. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that God is "God of all comfort." At your lowest point, turn to God for help and continue to pray to him. I hope this scripture can bring you some form of comfort.
