Dick G Hostetter
Dick Hostetter (78) passed away peacefully on January 8th 2018 surrounded by family.
Born in Ballard UT on 12/29/39 to Glenn & Adell Hostetter. His parents moved him and his siblings, Dennis Hostetter, Lynn Lewis (Hostetter) & Gerald Hostetter to Albuquerque in 1946.
Dick attended Highland High School, the university of Albuquerque & Northwestern University.
He also received training from the FBI academy. Dick served his community as an officer with APD (Albuquerque Police Dept) for 21 years before retiring and starting his own construction company.
Dick was very proud of his 5 daughters: Bobbie Sievert, Marti Hostetter, Joe Hostetter, Glenda Spears & Ricci Warmkessel, as well as his 11 Grand kids and 10 beautiful great grandchildren.
Dick was a thrill seeker and loved adventure. From flying small planes or Hot air balloons or riding one of his many motorcycles across the country, he loved excitement. He also loved restoring old classic cars; his favorite was a white 57 Thunderbird. He lived in Mexico for over a decade; again always up for an adventure. Dick was preceded in death by his Father Glenn, Mother Adell, younger brother Gerald and his granddaughter Jessica. Dick will be missed by many. Thank you to family and friends for your love and support in our time of sorrow. It was our dad's final wishes that no services be held.

Dear Hostetter Family, I just wanted to take this time and express how sorry I am for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is something that is so hard to deal with. Sometimes, we may even feel hopeless and as if there is no one that can understand our pain. But there is someone we can turn to. Our Heavenly Father can help us through all sorts of trials. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that God is "God of all comfort." At your lowest point, turn to God for help and continue to pray to him. I hope this scripture can bring you some form of comfort.
