Rudy D. Salazar Sr.
November 22, 1951 -- April 06, 2018

Rudy "Poges" D. Salazar Sr., 66, lifelong resident of Hernandez, NM went to join our Lord on Friday, April 6, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Filia Salazar, brother, Juan Salazar, nephews, Daniel Zelic and Gerald Cata, brothers in law, Chris Serna and Ruben Beavers and sister in law, Sara Garcia.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Lupita Salazar, children, Yvonne Chavez, Rudy D. Salazar Jr. (Tracy), Leslie Chacon (Leroy), and Amanda Trujillo (James), stepsons, Jose Valdez and Adam Valdez (Nina), brothers, Leroy Salazar (Eleanor) and Tony Salazar (Priscilla), sisters, Johanna Beavers, Terry Salazar, Orlinda Serna, and Lori Zelic (Danny). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Devonne, Joseph (Aubriana), Emmanuel, Harley, Ashley, Diego, LeeAnthony, KeriAnne and James, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, including special niece, Erica and special nephew, Eric, one Godchild, Mia, many other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

Rosary will be held on Monday, April 16th, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, NM. Burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery.
