Anthony Orlando Chavez Jr.

Anthony Orlando Chavez, Jr. 42, died on May 2, 2018, leaving behind family and friends who will miss him terribly but who feel blessed to have been a part of his life, even if it wasn’t for long enough.

Born on Dec. 1, 1975, Antone, as he was known, embraced each day with a warm smile and infectious laugh – the kind of big-hearted guy you want to be around. He was welcoming. He was kind. He was bigger than life.

A talented and respected electrician, Antone worked hard, but he also enjoyed his leisure time, which often was spent surrounded by loved ones and cheering on his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics.

He was a loyal fan, just as he was a loving father to Jerome, Mercedes, Anthony, Isabel, Aniston and Aubriana. He also is survived by his father, Anthony O. Chavez; his mother, Lupita E. Martinez and fiancé Anthony Pino; his sister Yvonne Salazar and her husband Ken; his brother Ray Chavez; and his sidekick, Lori Gonzales as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved him dearly.
