Jose `Maggie` Mondragon
November 18, 1932 -- September 10, 2018

Jose “Maggie” Mondragon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at his home on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born on November 18, 1932.

 

Jose is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elvira; children David Mondragon (Patsy), Jerry Mondragon (Linda), and Eileen Ortiz (Tony); grandchildren Nathan Trujillo (Monica), Angelica Olivas (Frankie), and Analisa Ortiz (Jay); great grandchildren Dominique, Noah, Synderelia, Valentino, and Jadyn; brothers Abelardo Mondragon, Chris Mondragon (Corrine), Gilbert Mondragon (Arlene), and Uvaldo Mondragon (Ruby); sisters Linda Gonzalez (John), Ruby Montoya, and Molly Archuleta; and many nieces and nephews. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Solidea Mondragon; sister Delia Graham; brother Tony Mondragon; godson Eddie Mondragon; brothers-in-law Salvador Archuleta and Joe Aurelio Montoya; sisters-in-law Geneva Mondragon and Tomasita Mondragon; and nephew Art Archuleta.

 

Rosary will be Thursday, September 13th at 7:00pm at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church in Ranchos de Taos. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 14th at 11:00am at San Francisco de Asis.
