Obituary of Brenda Blue Vice

Brenda "Blue" Vice transitioned to her next journey on October 1, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 20, 1955 in New Iberia, Louisiana. She was very proud of being"Cajun" and of her Southern heritage. She lived her life the "Cowgirl Way" and worked very hard to help people in need. Her Mama and Daddie taught her well and she tried to honor them everyday. In a full and happy life, Blue did a variety of jobs, Funeral Director Intern, Bar Owner, Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Palestine, Texas, Activity Director and Program Coordinator at St. Martins Homeless Shelter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Anne Vice, her half brother Frank Nall and Brother-in-law Murray Harrington. She leaves her loving wife, Kathleen Isabella Donahue, her sweet sisters, Vicki Coleman (Steve), Jane Boudreaux (Dwight) and several nieces and nephews, her little fur baby Julian, and her special nephew Fallon Nall. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service and 2nd line will be celebrated on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at11:00 AM, at St. Martins Hospitality Center, located at 1201 3rd.
