Obituary of Irma Josephine Greslin

Irma Josephine (Howard) Greslin passed peacefully on June 1st ,2021 around 7:00PM.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Glassmaker; by 3 grandsons, David Bost D. Bechtel, and James Bechtel-Chavez. She is also survived by 5 great Grandchildren and as of May 8th, a great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Katherine Bechtel, by her older sister Dorothy Howard, and her younger sister, Barbara (Howard) Briscoe and by her parents.

Born in 1930 to Kathryn Faye and Roy E Howard in Kansas, MO, she grew up in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1947, She later moved to Houston, TX where she lived for over 40 years during which time she worked for US Steel and then was a school teacher. She was always an active member of her church community and later opened an antique store with a couple of friends. She was a 3-time Cancer survivor and around 2013 moved back to Albuquerque to be closer to her daughter. She lived to be 91 and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
