Obituary of Virginia Elvira Martinez

Virginia Elvira Martinez passed away on June 29, 2021, Heaven gained one of the sweetest angels.  Gina was a true protector when it came to her family and friends. There was not anything she would not do for them. Her smile was infectious, and she always made you feel loved and valued. She was the kind of person that could find a place in your heart and stay there forever, regardless of how long you knew her. She was a beautiful daughter, Sister and one of the best aunties in the world. We love and miss her.

Virginia is proceeded in death by her father, Ramon Martinez Jr., Half-brothers Aaron and Timmy Martinez.  Grandparents; Lauriano and Estefanita Gonzales of Embudo, NM, Ramon and Elvia Martinez of Velarde,
NM.  She is survived by her mother, Margie Brooks of the family home. Her brother Raymond Martinez, two nieces raised like sisters Shannon Wilson (James) of Indiana, Kayla Martinez of Las Cruces. Other nieces- Desi of Colorado and Rosa of Albuquerque, numerous other nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law Cathy Maestas (Alex) of Rio Chama. Lifetime friends Annette Quintana (Joe), Jennifer Gallegos (Moses) many other friends remain. Maternal Uncles and Aunts, Isabel Gonzalez (Pablo) of Ranchos de Taos, Leroy Gonzales from Penasco, NM. Percy Gonzales from Dixon. Paternal Uncles and Aunts; Caroline Lovato (lee) of Albuquerque. Hielda Esquibel of California, Jose Martinez (Jeannie) of Velarde, NM.
