Obituary of Sharon Ramirez

  Sharon Ilene Ramirez, 88, of Los Lunas, New Mexico went home to be with our Lord after a long illness in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones on September 5, 2021.

 

  Sharon is preceded in death by her son, Kerry. She is survived by her children Fred, Debbie, Christine and Julia. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many.

 

  Sharon was very involved in the community.  She was a master gardener, member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Audubon Society. She was involved in the Los Lunas School System, editor of the Valencia County News, edited and published several medical books and retired from the University of New Mexico School Of Pharmacy.

 

  Sharon loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. Please celebrate her passing to a better place where she is now free from pain.

 

  She loved the great outdoors, working and gardening in the yard, as well as identifying numerous birds. She was also an incredible naturopath.

 

  The memorial service was held on Sunday, September 19, 2012 in Los Lunas, on the grounds of the family estate. Presiding over the service was Pastor Marlow Frasier. Arrangements were handled by the caring professional, Stephen Lopez of Riverside Funeral Home in Los Lunas, NM.
