Obituary of Charlotte Jeanette Rojas

Charlotte ‘Charly” Jeanette Rojas was born on July 6th, 1944 to Bertha and John Sandoval in Los Angeles, CA. Charly gained her wings on November 1, 2021, and has been joined in heaven with her parents, brother, and other family members. She leaves behind her husband Armando Jack Rojas Jr, her son Armando Jack Rojas III (wife Pauline), grandsons Bryan and Christopher, great grandchildren Laynee and Myles, and brothers JB (wife Theresa), Ronald (wife Tommy), David (wife Cheryl), and Paul Sandoval. She is preceded in death by her mother Bertha Martinez ‘59, father John Sandoval ‘00, and brother Richard ’12.

Charly was loved dearly. As a young girl she danced, was a cheerleader, and played the piano. At the age of 15 after her mother died, she left school and all the activities she loved to take care of her 4 younger brothers with no regret or selfishness. She married the love of her life Jack in 1964 and continued to mother the brothers even bringing them into her new home. She went back to get her diploma and accounting degree and began her career as an accountant for several companies including Rogoff and Diamond and Walker. She retired in 2001. Anyone who knew her knew she loved Disneyland and was the only vacation spot she would visit. She was crazy over Elvis Presley and almost attended his concert, but that’s another story Jack could only tell. Her other local spot was Sandia casino and could spend day and night there. She had a devout love for her husband, brothers, son, grandchildren and great grandchildren, stepbrother, stepsisters, half brother and sister, nieces, and nephews. She had many stories and loved old movies like “Gone with the Wind,” “Grease,” “Wizard of Oz,” and Elvis flicks. Our dear Charly, may you rest in Peace. Gone but never forgotten.
