Obituary of Anthony Arguello

Anthony Arguello 39, born August 13 1982, lost his lifetime battle with aspiration pneumonia on November 26, 2021. He is survived by his Father Peter Arguello, mother Diana Montoya (Abel), sisters Margaret Arguello (Jeremy), Michelle Morres (Gary), brothers Richard Quintana (Krista), nieces Diana Lee, Brianna (Jeremy), Chantelle (Matthew) nephew Ricardo. Cousins Bobby and Richard Perea, Nick and Maryann Arguello. Along with Jose Arguello (Josephine), Roseann Maes (Pat), Louis Madrid (Gloria), Patrick Arguello, Dennis Madrid (Josephine), and Paul (Lugarda). Aunts and Uncles, Gloria Towers, Roxie Varela, Wilfred Varela and Jack Towers. With many more loved family members.  

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anastacio and Margarita Arguello. Maternal grandparents Ricardo and Celia Varela. Sister-in-law, Cecilia and Aunts Vivian, Rita, Sally, and Carmen. Uncles Robert Perea and Roy Varela.  

Anthony was a special child. He was a fighter and never gave up regardless of what life threw at him. He participated in the Special Olympics, and loved to volunteer at the Senior Center. He loved to be around people.  

Services are at St. Anthony's Church in Pecos, NM on Thursday, December 9th. Services with begin promptly at 10 am with a catholic rosary and burial mass at 11am. Procession to the cemetery to follow.  

Pallbearers are Richard Quintana, Richard Perea, Gary Morres, Jeremy Martinez, and Roberto Cruz.  Honorary Pallbearer Christopher Morres. 

Reception at Casa de Herrera restaurant in Pecos, NM after burial.
