Christy lived most of his life in Clayton and worked with his brother Joe throughout the years. He was an excellent worker, a craftsman who took pride in the quality of his work. Over the years he had developed countless skills including being an excellent builder, our Christy could paint, drywall, and roof homes. He was passionate and dedicated to whatever project or job he decided upon and the quality of his work showed. He was proud to call Clayton his home and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Our Most Beloved Father was a wonderful dad and mentor. He was a great role model that showed strength, courage, and true compassion to his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He loved going to Bernal, NM to spend time with his immediate and growing family. He enjoyed joking and working on his car with his son-in-law Gene. We would take drives from Bernal to the Santuario in Chimayo, NM where he enjoyed sharing and being with his family. He also enjoyed cruising around Clayton and listening to his music, honking at his family and friends as he drove by. Everyone knew who our Banano was. He was always willing to share his numerous stories of adventures that he had experienced throughout his life. His presence will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His passing has left a huge void and great sadness in our hearts; however, we thank the Lord for the many happy years He gifted us to have with him. He will be greatly missed. Dad, we will always love you.
