Obituary of John Fernando Sanchez

John Fernando Sanchez, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, peacefully passed into eternity. The family extends an invitation to join them in praying the Holy Rosary on Friday February 18, 2022, at 10 a.m., followed by the celebration of the Funeral Mass beginning at 11a.m.  The funeral services will be celebrated at  St Anne's Catholic Church, located at 1400 Arenal Road SW., Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105.

John celebrated life by serving others, and  was always available at a moment's notice to assist anyone in their time of need. John was a compassionate and loving person. One of his greatest gifts was, when speaking to you, he gave you his undivided attention and made you feel as if he had known you his whole life.

John was a devout and faithful catholic and witnessed his faith in Christ with a genuine spirit of love, laughter, and a passion for music. John's legacy will continue in the lives of those still remaining, including his father Fernando, siblings: Father James, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Yolanda, Bernadette ( Husband Andrew), Adriano ( Wife Star), and  numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Virginia and his baby Valerie.

In John's desire to keep things simple, he requested that all donations (flowers, gifts) be offered to the benefit of furthering the cause for Canonization of his cousin Bishop Alfonso Gallegos. Donations can be sent to the following address:

Augustine Recollects Saint Augustine Priory 400 W. Sherwood Way Oxnard, CA 93033
They Might Be Saints; Venerable Alfonso Gallegos

Bishop Alfonso Gallegos was a member of this Religious Order. May they both enjoy Eternal Life with God.
