Obituary of Lucian Maxwell Miller

He passed on January 22, 2022 at the ripe old age of 82. He was born in Fort Sumner, NM on November 14, 1939 to his parents, Kenneth L Miller Sr. and Stella R. Abreu. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Phyllis Miller, and his oldest son Ricky Maxwell Miller who passed away at 50 years old. He also had a baby sister Margaret, who passed when she was only four years old in 1944. His youngest brother Manuel F Miller passed when he was 70 years old. He is survived by his older brothers Robert R Miller (Moth) and Kenneth Miller Jr. (Knute) and his youngest son Gary Dale Miller. He served four years in the Air Force. Once he was out of the Air Force, he started working for Ideal Cement Co. in Tijeras Canyon. He served as a Quarry truck transport driver. He enjoyed his time and his co-workers. He retired in 2010. Lucien enjoyed leather working and fishing when he was younger. Later he enjoyed going to Hot Rod Car shows and watching high school athletics, particularly Valley High School athletics. He was a graduate of Valley High School. He really enjoyed eating breakfast at all the great restaurants and his favorite was Huevos Rancheros. He also enjoyed reading dog books and joke books. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people smile. He often said that God is only going to give us what he knows we can handle. He really enjoyed living in Albuquerque and everything it had to offer.  I’m going to miss you. Say hi to everyone up there in Heaven for me. There will be a gravesite burial ceremony on Tuesday March 1st at 10:00am at Sunset Memorial Park located on Menaul and Edith.
