Obituary of Mary Christine Theiler

Mary Christine “Chris” Theiler (77) Born August 11, 1944 joined her Heavenly Father on January 18, 2022.  She is preceded in death by her Mother, Christine Rike, Father Ed Ray Rike and sons Tommy and Lane. She was a lifelong horse woman who was active in the New Mexico Pinto and Paint clubs as well as serving as the President of the National Pinto Horse Association from 2000-2002. She hauled her horses throughout the West while enjoying time with friends whether it be going to  horse shows or on trail riding trips.  She was always quick to welcome “newbies” to her world and never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting with sisters, children, grandchildren and friends.  She was a light in our lives that won’t soon be forgotten.  She is survived by her Husband Jerry of 55 years, children; Kimberle Lowe, Ritamarie Theiler and husband Jack Sturgeon. Grandchildren; Morgan Theiler, Matthew Theiler, Michael Theiler and wife Gladys, as well as Sister Larrie Sue Barkley and Husband Gary Barkley and Sister Cindy Lemons and HusbandTerry. Memorial services will be held on March 17th at 10AM at Riverside Funeral Chapel, 225 San Mateo Blvd NE.
