Obituary of Lydia Almanza

Lydia Almanza was an amazing woman. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. God called her home on February 3, 2022. She was born in Texas and moved to Albuquerque after her mom passed. She was raised by her aunt Amilia Diaz. Her aunt loved God and passed that love on to Lydia. Lydia in turn taught her kids about the love of Jesus. She loved to sing, read her bible, and teach others about God. She was a mentor to her family and many others. Just before God took her home she was singing. She will be greatly missed and loved by those whose lives she touched. A funeral service is scheduled for March 15, 2022 at 9:00 Am at the Riverside funeral home on San Mateo. A separate burial service will be held at the Santa Fe national cemetery on March 16, 2022 at 9:00 Am.
