Obituary of Joshua Raul Foster

On Saturday, February26,2022, Joshua Raul Foster, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away at the age of 29.

Josh was born July 6th, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Barcelona Elementary School, Academia de Lengua y Cultura, South Valley Academy, University of New Mexico and CNM and excelled in the hospitality industry.

Josh Loved our Lord Jesus, His family, his many friends and his teachers and couches. Josh was and avid sports lover, he loved all sports but loved basketball and football the most. His favorite football team was the Denver Broncos. He loved playing basketball with his many friends whom he loved dearly. He was known for his quick wit, his forever present smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Josh was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Gonzales, four uncles and one aunt.

Josh is survived by his parents, Raymond and Sylvia Foster, his brothers Albert and Stephen and his sister Rosie, his beloved niece Shante, and her daughter Nevaeh whom he adored, a nephew, fifty-six cousins, fourteen aunts, eleven uncles, one great aunt and hundreds of friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 21st, 2022, at Riverside Funeral Home on 225 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico at 10am. Josh’s life celebration will be held immediately after the service at Prestige event center located at 2019 5th St NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
