Obituary of Jo Anne Cutrer

The Lord called upon one of his most devoted warriors, our beloved mother, grandmother, auntie and friend, to return home on January 20th 2022. 

JoAnne Cutrer was born to parents Matthew  and June Starcevich 11/ 30/ 45 in Wellsville NY. At an early age they moved to NM with her brother & sister. She lived in Albuquerque, Moriarty,  Las Cruces, Dona Aña, Mesilla Park and  Rio Rancho, accumulating many friends along the way.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents Matthew & June, her brother Paul Starcevich,  her sister Jeanne Smith, her husband Frank Cutrer and her grandson Frank Cutrer. 

She is survived by her daughters: Bronwyn Starcevich,  and grandsons Sean & Christopher Starcevich; and 

Paula Cutrer, and  grandsons Isaac and Josiah Cutrer. She is also survived by her nephew Vince Maisano Jr, &  family; her nephew Joe Maisano & family; and her niece Lori (Starcevich) Harlett &  family.

And of course her many friends and fellow warriors for the Lord. 

JoAnne's heart and spirit were her greatest assets. She had a smile , love, wisdom and perseverance to find joy and goodness in everyone and everything around her. She brought to many a sense of belonging,  a sense of being loved and cared for- and always, ALWAYS had a prayer for your wellbeing.  

She is going to be missed immensely by her family and friends but after her battle with pain and illness, she passed in the hospital surrounded with the sounds of her true loves, her family, who filled the room with prayers and stories with laughter. 

We will miss you mom but we all carry the love, wisdom, faith and kindness you left us with to carry forward.
