Obituary of Patricia A. Venable

Patricia A. Venable, 68 a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away  Friday evening, March 25, 2022 in Rio Rancho after suffering multiple strokes. She was born July 10, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM. Patricia lived in Concord, CA and Spokane, WA before moving back to Albuquerque, NM in 2011 until her passing.

She is survived by her youngest son Joele Reeves and his wife Lenora of Albuquerque, NM, daughter-in-law Adelicia Carabajal of Augusta, Ga who was her Daughter in her heart. Her 8 grandsons Derrit, Dominic, Diego, Sean, Tyrell, Isaiah, Malik and Dasan. Her siblings, many cousins and Aunts.

Patricia was a little strong woman. She was first and foremost a God fearing woman who was always protective, sweet, kind, giving, and she always love to feed people. To the people who knew her best would say that she would keep you on your toes. If she caught you slipping she would get you by certain words she would tell you or she had a thing about poking and pinching. If you were a friend to her you were family.

In her young days Patricia loved food, salsa dancing and cleaning with her music up high. She enjoyed doing crafts, watching Days of our lives and as the world turns. She worshiped at Grant Chapel AME Church in Albuquerque and Bethel AME of Spokane. She also served in the church sometimes as an usher or helping out where needed. Her favorite color was pink, favorite bird hummingbird, her favorite flower was a Carnation. She enjoyed Dr Pepper, cherry dilly bars, watermelon, barbecue, pork chops and ribs Her favorite past time was spending time with the people who she loved. 

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Isabel Gabaldon & Patricio Perea, her oldest son Richard Carabajal, many aunts and uncles. 

Services for Patricia will be held at God's house church April 23rd 11:00 a.m. 2335 Wyoming boulevard Northeast Albuquerque New Mexico 87112 There will be a Wake for Patricia following the Service.
