Obituary of Francestine Newson

On Monday February 21, 2022, Francestine Newson a loving daughter, sister and mother of three children, passed away at age 53.

Francestine was born on February 18, 1969 in Roswell, New Mexico to Earnestine Maxwell Newson-Williams and E.B. Mitchell. She attended West Mesa High School and received her diploma in 1986 and went on to Central New Mexico College to gain her degree as a Nurse Aide. She worked many different jobs, but enjoyed the medical field so much.

Francestine had a passion for helping others who were in need. She loved being creative with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her friend's children but she loved spending all day with her nephew Gian, where she would come by the house and spend the entire day with him doing things that he loved to do with her. She loved going to basketball and baseball games to watch her superstar Kamelya Medina get the win in which she would root her on by her unique whistle that caught everyone’s attention when doing so. She made every effort to attend the shows of her nephew Bill Jr and waited for the big day to have the front seat at one of his shows.

Francestine was preceded in death by her father E.B. Mitchell and grandmother Rosie Ann Maxwell in which she loved so much. She is survived by her mother Earnestine Maxwell Newson-Williams, her three children Joe Ray, Andre and Kylissha. She is survived by her sisters, Audrey, Justeen and Eva and five brothers, Jeffrey, Samuel, Tremayne, George and ML. She has numerous grandbabies, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that enjoyed so many things about her.

Her memorial services will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 3:00pm at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1000 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
