Obituary of Mary Dolores Aragon

Mary V. Aragon, 94, of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022 at her home, in Albuquerque, NM.  Memorial services will be held at 6pm, on Thursday April 21st at Riverside Funeral Home, located at 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 . Visitation will be held from 6-8pm.  Mary was born on April 15, 1927 in Torreon, NM to father Antonio and mother Rosarito Vigil. Mary grew up in Torreon, NM.  She graduated from Estancia High School in 1945. After high school she moved to Albuquerque, NM where she met her future husband Fred Aragon.  Mary was a devoted wife and mother to her four children.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, oil-based painting, crocheting and spending time with her grand kids and great grand kids. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Rosarita Vigil, sisters, Lupita Martinez and Alicia Vigil, brothers Earnest Vigil, Pete Vigil and Tony Vigil, husband Fred Aragon, son Anthony Aragon, and granddaughter Delilah Barker.  Mary is survived by her younger sister Trisa Candelaria, her oldest daughter Maria Christina (Penny) Barker and husband Terry of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Lorraine Bruckman and husband Monty of Edgewood, NM, son Donald Aragon of Huntington Beach, CA , grandchildren Michael Barker and wife Sarah, Adam Barker, Carl Aragon, Charles Bruckman, Dylan Aragon, Monty Bruckman II, and Taylor Aragon; great grandchildren Joshua Barker, Charlie Aragon, Kyle Barker, Jacob Barker, Carter Barker, and Austin Barker.
