Obituary of Sophie Martinez

On Monday April 11,2022, Sophie Martinez loving wife mother and grandmother began her eternal life in heaven.

Sophie was born May 3,1948 to Leonardo and Simona Trujillo in Grants New Mexico.

Sophie spent most of her life in Ponderosa NM where she was happily married to Rudy Martinez for 59 years. They have 4 children Rudy Martinez Jr.(Luella), Randy Martinez(Valerie), Renee Montoya(Mark) and Johnny Martinez(Iva). Sophie has 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and whom she loved with all her heart.

Sophie was employed with the Servants of the Paracletes for 18 years. She was also employed with the YMCA in Jemez Valley Public Schools.

Sophie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Till we meet again,and May she Rest In Peace.
Funeral will be held in Ponderosa NM at Santo Toribio Church on May 20th at 11:00am
