Obituary of Marilyn Alice Ford
Marilyn Alice Mills Ford, 94, of Albuquerque, NM went to be with her Lord on May 4,2022. She is survived by daughters MaryJane Beddingfield and husband, of Summerville, SC, Ruth Bailey and husband, of Albuquerque, NM, Shirley Cron and husband of Las Vegas, NV, and Karen Ellis of Albuquerque, NM. She also had 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Alice McCain, and also her husband of 70 years, Clay Ford.
Her daughters describe Marilyn as a very resilient Army wife, a devoted preacher’s wife and a patient, nurturing mother who was the glue that held the family together. Her positive attitude and wise judgement will be sorely missed. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research.
