Evangeline Sandoval

Obituary of Evangeline Sandoval

On Thursday the 28th of April Evangeline “Angie” Sandoval was called to return home to her Heavenly Father and many beloved family members after living a long, loving and enriched life on this earth. Angie was passionate about many things in life from baking to various arts & crafts but nothing beat her passion for life except for the love she had for the greatest joy in her life and that was her family

Her passion for learning and baking led her to having a reputation for being one of the greatest cake masters/bakers anyone has ever known. As a baker she made hundreds, if not thousands, of cakes and biscochitos that were famous not only here in New Mexico but several other states as well. She shared that knowledge with anyone who wanted to learn and even passed that knowledge down to the next generation to keep the tradition going

As a person Angie was the most kind, thoughtful and caring person you could ever know. She always tried to lift the burden of others and made sure everyone (especially her family) was taken care of even if that meant putting her wants and needs last. Even in challenging times she was always the rock any of us could and would turn to using her light to guide us through the darkness.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers, sister and her eldest son Michael. She is survived by her husband Howard who she spent 62 amazing years of marriage with, her Son Leonard Sr, daughter Shirley, 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She will forever be connected to them and not even in death will that be broken
