Teresa Davalos

Obituary of Teresa Denise Davalos

On Thursday, May 19th, 2022, Teresa Davalos, loving wife and mother of 2, passed away at the age of 63.

Teresa was born on April 4th, 1959 in Portales, New Mexico, later graduating from Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1977. Even though she had a wild side, she was very level headed and approached most situations with logic and reason. She grew up with 3 brothers and sisters who still think of her as a “great big sister.”

Even though they had already been together for 13 years, she finally married the love of her life, Ron Davalos, on December 31st, 2008.

Teresa always had a project or three in the works. Whether that was working on her PartyLite candle business, cutting up photos for a scrapbook, or sitting in front of a sewing machine making her latest quilt, you would never find her sitting still. She loved social gatherings and would always throw several parties throughout the year, mainly for the 4th of July and the Balloon Fiesta, where she had a wonderful view of the balloons and fireworks from her home in Albuquerque. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She made sure to decorate her house to the fullest, visit family members, and give pretty much everyone she knew some sort of gift to let them know she was thinking about them.

Teresa is survived by her parents, Lloyd and Joanne Creamer, her husband, Ron, her children Jami (Vic) and Jaysen (Yoko), brother Morgan, sisters Pam and Rhetta, and her three grandchildren.

Everyone who knew her, from employers, to coworkers, parents, children, siblings, and friends, would agree that she was one of the most dependable, conscientious, and dedicated people they knew. She is irreplaceable and will be forever missed.
