Obituary of Jimmy R. Lechuga

Santiago R Lechuga well known as Jimmy.

Born on May 12 1946 to Benigna Romero and Refugio Lechuga in Mountainare NM. He was the youngest of 4. In his life he was a Truck driver known as Purple Rain for roughly 30 years. He was a father to 4 children. He loved going to the center to play pool and loved his horse races, but most of all he loved being in the company of those he loved. He went home on July 5, 2022  due to his strong battle of pancreatic cancer. He was an amazing brother, father, uncle, papo, and friend to those that knew and loved him. He will always be loved and missed dearly.

Preceded: Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Benina Romero and Refugio Lechuga as well as his older sister Evangelina Sanchez.

Survived: Left to treasure Jimmy’s memories are His siblings:Samuel Lechuga and Maria Romelia Pacheco; Ex Wife: Lydia Primera whom even though they were no longer married, they still had love and respect for each other. His children: Eric Primera and spouse Jenifer Primera, Marisa Rodriguez and spouse Mario Rodriguez, Jimmy Jr Lechuga, and Vanessa Gomez Bussel and spouse Kevin Bussel;  Along with his 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and all of his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
