Obituary of Sandra Doreen Baca-Aguirre

On Friday June 17th 2022, Sandra Doreen Baca-Aguirre, loving wife and wonderful mother to 5. She made her way to heaven at the age of 56.

Sandra was born on May 10th 1966 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mercy Carrillo and Frank Ludwin. She was later adopted by her grandparents, Bences and Nestorita Baca. She obtained employment at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she did a variety of tasks from housekeeping to assisting in the OR. For the love of cooking, Sandra managed two restaurants for several years before deciding to be a stay at home mama. She met her other half, Pedro Gustavo Aguirre and married on May 9th 2009. 

Sandra has a passion  for gardening. Her family describes her as having a green thumb. She also enjoyed to dance and listen to a variety of music, but her favorite is Spanish music. She enjoyed watching her telenovelas, english or spanish. She was constantly cooking, some of her favorite dishes to make are enchiladas, Indian tacos, and a variety of sweets! 

Sandra was preceded in death by grandparents, Bences and Nestorita Baca, her sisters, Sylvia, and Clara, brother Ernie, nephew Manuel, niece Crystal. Sandra is survived by Husband Gustavo, her 5 children beginning from oldest, Leeann, Cynthia, Savannah, Brianna, and Antonio. 5 grandchildren, Arriana, Alexis, Dominic, Manuel, and Josiah. Mother Mercy and Sisters Viola, Charmain, Erica, Andrea, and Audrey and several nieces and nephews.

The services  will be held at the Ascenion Church at 10 am on July 12th. Flower Donations may be sent to the Church located at 2150 Raymac Rd Sw Albuquerque,  NM 87105, by 9 am on day of Service.
