Obituary of Luis Perez

Luis Antonio Perez born September 14, 1977 in Albuquerque, NM passed away on June 29, 2022. He grew up in the Carnuel community and was very close to his family. Luis had a big heart. He was a generous, kind and thoughtful soul who loved his family and friends dearly. He will be missed by his uncle and aunties and his cousins who he considered his siblings.

Luis is survived by his children, daughters Elisa and Tiana and son, Lorenzo; his mother Julia Ann Garcia; wife Anita and step children Reggie, Diego, Christopher, Jazmine, and Janessa; aunts, uncle, and cousins plus the very many beloved friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 811 Guaymas Place, NE, with rosary at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m., with graveside services at the Carnuel Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge in NE Albuquerque (12825 Skyline Rd. NE, 87123).

Honorary pallbearers are Ruben Garcia. Lorenzo Garcia, Dominic Garcia, Julian Gabaldon, Reyna Garcia, Charles (Wyman) Burkes, Michael Urbano, Ray Urbano, Ernest Benavidez, Christopher Patterson, Ray Esquivel and TJ Urbano.
