William “Willie” Gonzales

William “Willie” Gonzales, 86, was called home to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 23rd. His death was sudden, but he is now with his beloved wife in Heaven. Willie (Bill) was born a rancher from Gonzales Ranch, NM, on January 28, 1936. He married his sweetheart, Jacoba “Jakie” Ortiz and moved to Albuquerque. He started his business and they raised their family of 6 children. He was preceded in death by his wife; Jacoba “Jakie” Gonzales, Grandson; Frank Victor Gonzales II, Parents: Esequiel and Agueda Gonzales, Sisters: Graciana Ortiz, Mary Lopez and Theresa Chavez and one brother Estevan Gonzales. He is survived by his children: Bill J. Gonzales and Wife Theresa, Frank Victor Gonzales and Wife Geraldine, Anthony Gonzales and wife Edna, Angeleen Saiz, Stanley Gonzales and wife Anna and Julian Gonzales and wife Yvonne; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 8 siblings; Rosalinda G. Lopez, Gloria Reedy, Mauricio Gonzales, Elisa Gonzales and husband Fernandez, Ruben Gonzales and wife Lydia, Ralph Gonzales, Rosalio Gonzales and wife Della; and Gabriel Lopez. Our father will be truly missed by his immediate family, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. A rosary will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment of cremains will be held Saturday, August 20th in San Antonio de Padua cemetery in El Pueblo, NM at 10:00 a.m.
