Patsy Kay Garcia

October 9, 1951- August 5, 2022

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Cathrine Lowder , her father Albert “Dad” Chavez, and her brother Albert “Champy” Chavez, and her daughter Delia Saavedra.  She is survived by her husband Alfonso Garcia Sr., her son Alfonso “Fonzy” Garcia Jr., her daughter in law Rochel Garcia, and her granddaughter Savannah Garcia.

Some people are so unique, so special, so human, that you have to look at their life in awe. Patsy Kay Garcia was one of those amazing people.

An Albuquerque native, proudly from the South Valley, Patsy Kay made her presence known. Whether it was with her infectious smile, her colorful sense of humor, or her ability to sing, she always had a way of capturing our attention. Her charitable heart was only matched by her ability to prepare some of the greatest meals ever tasted.

Two things are agreed upon by everyone who loved and appreciated her, she will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

The known universe lost a beautiful source of energy, but all of us can still feel her warmth!
