Obituary of Christopher John Duran

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Christopher John Duran. He passed away after a long courageous battle with diabetes on September 13, 2022. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 24, 1963. He is preceded in death by his father John Duran and Barbara Duran (Cordova). He is survived by his sisters Diana Duran, Irene Duran, Barbara Duran and Jeanette Duran. His nieces Nathasha Fuller, Jewel Duran and Ruby Marquez. His nephews Robert Sena (Godson) and Christopher Tristan Lake. Chris lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Gardening, hiking, chatting with family and friends, and most of all eating good food! We remember his wealth of knowledge, generosity, big blue eyes and friendly smile. His faith in the Lord kept him positive and helped navigate him through the most difficult of times. A private memorial is planned for the future. He crossed paths with many people throughout his extensive medical journey. All of which were kind and compassionate in his care and for that we are forever grateful.
