Obituary of Wilma M. Salisbury
Wilma M. Salisbury, 97, a resident of Albuquerque NM, died October 27, 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Salisbury, son Kenneth D. Salisbury and his wife Cindie and son Michael D. Salisbury and his wife Revonda; grandchildren Eve, Mary, Kenny, Christie, and Chuck; great-grandchildren Christina, Lexy, Amelia, Logan, Liam, Emmitt, Hazel and Felicity; great-great-grandchildren Gwyndolyn, Orin and Elyon, and beloved nieces, nephews and honorary kids.
Wilma worked for Sandia National Laboratory for almost 27 years before retiring from the job she loved as a course developer and trainer in their Management and Training Department. Once retired, Wilma embraced her life of leisure with travel – from several trips to Las Vegas, NV to completing some of the items on her bucket list by visiting New Zealand and Salisbury, England. Wilma was a talented painter, a superior cookie baker, and a champion for all things chocolate, but most importantly a loving wife, exceptional parent, wonderful grandmother, and a caring friend to many.
A brief service will be held at 10:30am, November 10, 2022, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM followed by a celebration of her life from 1pm to 3pm at the home of her daughter, Carol, 803 Lisbon Ave. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
