Obituary of Robert Gold Sr

Robert Gold Sr., 81, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, N.M., passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept, 3, 1941 in Las Vegas, N.M., to his parents Isaac Gold and Sofia (Montano) Gold.

He is preceded in death by his children, Darlene, Robert Jr., Nancy Gold, and Anna-Gold Garcia; his parents, Isaac and Sofia Gold; mother-in-law Bernice (Joe Macias); brothers, Gilbert, Orlando, Frank, and Steve Gold; sisters, Gloria Benavidez, Mary Lou Maestas.

He was a kind, loving and caring husband to his wife Mary Priscilla Gold they have shared 65 beautiful years together and raised seven children who he loved unconditionally. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Priscilla Gold from the family home; his children, Anthony Gold, Eileen Tenorio (Manuel) and Evelyn Leger (Bobby); also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally; brothers, Louie Gold, Jr. Gold, Tony (Loraine Gold) and Nash (Elaine Gold); sisters, Grace (Manuel Valencia) Maryann Gold, Dolores (Robert Ortega); and in-laws, Joe Manuel Macias, Bertha Tafoya, Rose Crespin, Andrea (John Gurule), Sabrina Chavez, Jill M., and Aggie (Walter Garcia).

A rosary service will be conducted at 1;30 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 and Funeral Mass following at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
