Obituary of Shirley M Dibble

Shirley M. Dibble, 84, a longtime resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM passed away on Tuesday November 29th, 2022 with her loving children by her side.

Shirley was born on December 28, 1937 in Tyler, Texas to Cordelia Mondragon Bedford and William E. Bedford, one of 6 children. The family settled in Antonito, Colorado where she was raised in the family home and also attended school in Antonito. She moved to the Albuquerque area in 1969 and was married to Franklin P. Dibble on November 7, 1969, the love of her life. Together with her husband they owned and operated Northdale Video in Los Ranchos for 11 years. She will be remembered for her cheerful outlook on life, love of family, her talent in floral arranging, entertaining and caring for those in need. She always had a joke to tell or funny story to make you laugh.

She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and enjoyed being with them. She loved working in her yard and volunteered many hours counseling those who needed it. Shirley is survived by her three children – Jimmy Ruybal (wife Marilynn), Patricia Ruybal (Joe Iorg) and David Ruybal (wife Loyce), one brother, Edward Bedford – all of the Albuquerque area. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
