Obituary of Carole Jean Miller

Carole Jean Miller, 79, passed away on November 30, 2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with congenital heart disease.  She was preceded in death by her parents Josephus and Betty Jean Miller, along with her younger sister Sandi. She is survived by her 5 children: Lara Wood, Liz Wood, Sarah Champoux, William Wood and Russel Wood. Her 10 grandchildren: Justin, Marshal, Megan, Ian, Lauren, Zarah, Orion, Calee, William and Izabela. Her 3 great grandchildren: Aiden, Alison and Hazel. Her two sisters Linda Miller and Valerie Miller Brandon.

Carole had a passion for the theater and acted in several productions during her life.. She had a lovely singing voice and an infectious smile that would brighten any room she entered. She loved watching movies with her family and sharing in the joy of laughter. She was also a master at the game Farkle and enjoyed playing with her children and grandchildren.

Carole was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and lived by three rules that she instilled in her children: "Follow the golden rule", "Your education costs you no matter where you get it" and "Life is a stage and we each must play a part".

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her love and legacy will continue to live on through them. A celebration of her life will be held on January 21st, 2023. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donating to NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) in her memory.
