Obituary of Alvera Bailey

On the evening of January 12th 2023, Alvera Bailey a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother went home to be with with the Lord. She was born on September 2nd 1936 in Estancia, New Mexico to Raymundo and Genoveva Valdez and had 11 siblings.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Bailey, Son Raymond Lozano, Daughter Dyan Lozano, Son David Barela and his wife Vivian, Daughter Yolanda Herrera, Son Alex Barela and daughter Josie Garcia. She is survived by her Children Angela Garcia and husband Elmer, Manuel Barela and wife Connie, Son Ernest Barela, and daughter Denise Asay and husband John. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

She celebrated her family and will be deeply missed by all. We take great comfort in knowing she lives on in eternity and in our hearts, minds and memories.

Rosary and Celebration of Life service for Alvera will be held on Monday, January 30th from 10am-12pm at the Riverside Chapel at 225 San Mateo NE 87108.

All are also welcome to attend lunch with the family following the services @ St. Francis Xavier parish hall located at 820 Broadway Blvd. SE 87102.
