Obituary of Bonifacio G Mora

On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Bonifacio G Mora (AKA Bones or Bonnie), patriarch, loving husband, grandfather, Godfather, father, uncle, and friend went home to heaven at the age of 82. 

Bonifacio was born on May 21, 1941, in Placitas, NM to Dora Gurule & Julian Mora. He was a Maintenance and Construction guru while being a superhero to his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and community.

Bones was preceded in death by his father, Julian, mother Dora, brothers Tony and James. Daughters; Dolores Mora, Lisa Mora, Peggy Lee Roybal, and Tina Lee. He is survived by his children, Carmen, Carolyn, Consuelo, Faye, Bonnie Joann, Dale Lee, Andrew, Frankie, and Geraldine. Honorary daughters Felicia, Jessica and Juanita. Godchildren Latisha and Monique. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins and friends. 

He was known for his patient, compassionate, kind, and giving heart. Everyone of his family members experienced his generosity. His funeral services will be held in Placitas, New Mexico on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church - 7 Paseo de San Antonio, Placitas, NM 87043. Services begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by A Celebration of Life meal and burial.
