Obituary of Shirley Roof

Shirley June Knoll Roof passed away January 2023.  She was born July 1924 at Lark, North Dakota. She graduated from Carson High School (North Dakota), she had a BA degree from Jamestown College (North Dakota) and an MA degree from the University of Michigan.   Her husband Raymond Bradley Roof, Jr. preceded her in death in 2004.   She is survived by her sons Michael Roof of Los Angeles, California and Steven Roof of Fairmont, West Virginia and Steven’s children Benjamin, Tegan, and Jordan, and Tegan’s children Evania and Josephine.   Per her request no memorial service was held and her body was cremated.   Memorial contributions may be made to the First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque New Mexico.
